Lupillo Rivera Celebrates the Launch of His New CD: ‘Entre Copas Y Botellas’
Los Angeles, CA--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--October 5, 2006--Aviacsa Airlines, Carnivo, and Celtono.com join the most prominent artist in Regional Mexican music, Lupillo Rivera, in an intimate affair to celebrate the launch of his new CD “Entre Copas Y Botellas” (VeneMusic) on September 27, 2006 at The Day After Club in Hollywood, California. The festivities come right in time with his Latin Grammy Nomination for Best Album Ranchero. The celebration of this highly anticipated new album release took off at 9:30 p.m., with his entire family in attendance and with red carpet arrivals. Inside, the intimate atmosphere was well catered to by Lupillo’s very own restaurant, Super Jalapenos, in Westchester and cocktails offered by Carnivo. By 11:00 p.m., Lupillo began to wow his crowd, as always, when he took center stage, performing all 11 songs from his new hit album. Afterwards, he personally thanked his guests and fans by interacting with them.
The launch of this new CD for Lupillo is the first step of many to get back in touch with his roots, his people, his community, his fans! A promotional tour across the United States has begun, which will follow into Mexico where Lupillo will be presenting himself at in-stores for photo-ops and autograph sessions, with those he wishes to reconnect and give back to, those people….his fans!!
The artist just formed a partnership with VeneMusic, a company of Venevision Internacional and a multimedia agency owned by La Organizacion Cisneros. “Entre Copas Y Botellas” is the first album under this new venture. The record single, “Prefiero La Calle” from this new production debuted at # 5 and climbing the charts. The album, “Entre Copas Y Botellas” is expected to chart in the top 20 and perform very well.
Lupillo Rivera is a multi-faceted talented artist. The first single, “Prefiero La Calle” was written solely by him and pertains to his own inspirations. Among this single, he also wrote two more songs on the album “El Gayatero” and the album title “Entre Copas Y Botellas”. His legendary father Pedro Rivera also helped produce the entire album. “This is an album that you do not get tired of …you can just play it over and over again”, Lupillo adds.
