Future Tense
Future tense verbs are used in the following situations:
With the construction ‘ir a’ + infinitive form. (going to)
- El viernes iré a beber al bar.
An action that will be realized at a specific time.
- Mañana mi hermano regresará de Acapulco.
In place of the imperative tense.
- Usted cocinará y servirá la cena hoy.
The future tense is used to express a suprise, doubts or a possibility in the present.
- ¿Vendrá a la fiesta?
¿Será soltero?
A future action as viewed from the present tense.
- La maestra dice a los alumnos que mañana no tendrán el día libre.

IMPORTANT
In the future tense the ending carries an accent except in the form ‘Nosotros’.
There are a number of irregular verbs in future tense such as haber, querer, poner and salir that drop or change a letter in their future tense conjugation. Other verbs such as decir and hacer are also irregular .
