Greetings, Colors, Commands and Numbers in Spanish

For September's vocabulary the focus is on some basic vocabulary to help you get started learning and practising your Spanish.

Start by learning Spanish vocabulary used during greetings and goodbyes. Practice them with a partner.

Counting in Spanish is really simple when you take short steps. First study the numbers from zero to ten.

Learning colors in Spanish is the next step. We have selected 13 basic colors to get you started. In November you'll find some sample questions to use when talking about colors. When you are ready test your knowledge of colors in Spanish be taking a quick little quiz.

We finish off this month's Spanish vocabulary with a selection of Spanish commands which you may encounter in a classroom setting.
